Gary LaVelleCertified Trainer

Gary LaVelle graduated from high school in 1967 and immediately began a 21 year journey as a professional baseball pitcher, followed by a legendary career as a professional, then high school coach.
He played in the S.F. Giants farm system from 1967-1974, then pitched for the MLB S.F. Giants from 1974-1984, followed by Toronto (1985-1987), and then Oakland (1988). He made two All-Star appearances and holds several lifetime records with the Giants and is a member of the Giants Hall of Fame.
Gary is a renowned mentor and character builder for young men and athletes. He was a pitching coach for the Yankees farm system from 2000-2005, then became a legendary high school coach in Virginia, coaching Greenbrier Christian Academy for 20 years, winning 12 state titles and was named Virginia Coach of the Year 12 times.
Gary and his wife, Regina, have two children and three grandchildren.
