Sallie RyanCertified Trainer
Sallie began her career as a consultant with the drug abuse unit at FCI-Petersburg, Virginia. A native North Carolinian, she returned home after her career took her to Tennessee, Kentucky and New York. After intensive research of child abuse and neglect, she transitioned into public education as a school social worker.
Sallie was the director of the county’s first alternative school and completed her career as an elementary school principal. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and a Master’s Degree in School Administration. She was awarded the NCPAPA Distinguished Leadership in Practice certification in May 2013.
Sallie remains active in her church and community. She is a co-founder of a backpack ministry to feed hungry children on the weekends. She stays busy with five grandchildren and tries to model kindness for all, every day!
